Fort Worth: Where the Action Is!

ft-worth-cultureFort Worth boasts exemplary quality-of-life amenities, thanks in large part to the abundance of diverse cultural attractions. Below are just a small number of the many life-enhancing learning and entertainment opportunities that make Fort Worth a jewel in North Texas’ crown. Not only is Fort Worth a great place to visit, but once you see all that this unique city has to offer, you’ll want to stay.

The Cowtown Coliseum. What would a visit to Fort Worth be without attending a rodeo? This should be one of the first stops on any get acquainted-trip to Fort Worth. You can count on the best seat in the house every Friday and Saturday night so you won’t miss out on a single moment of exciting rodeo action.

Located in the world-famous Fort Worth Stockyards, the Cowtown Coliseum brings the town’s Wild West past to life, with a decidedly modern twist. The real Dallas Cowboys and Cowgirls can actually be found right here in Fort Worth every Friday and Saturday night– putting on an edge-of-your-seat show that’s guaranteed excitement.

Trinity Trails. After enjoying all the scrumptious barbecue cuisine that Fort Worth has to offer, a visit to the Trinity Trails might be in order. The Trinity Trails are actually a collection of over 35 miles of hiking and biking paths that links much of Fort Worth’s system of parks and greenbelts.

You can enter the Trails just about anyplace you happen to be in Fort Worth. Here is a map of the Trinity Trails.

The Fort Worth Museum of Science and History. For 64 years, this museum has been educating and entertaining the young and the young-at-heart of Fort Worth and beyond. A major renovation was begun in 2007, and will feature a brand-new museum building to open in late 2009 (see the real-time countdown on the website).

The museum also features a renovated Omni Imax Theater (a first in Texas museums). The theater is open for business and currently showing –what else?- Night at the Museum: Battle for the Smithsonian.

Be sure to visit the website to find out the services available during construction.
